Welcome to our 2022 Spring Training Program! We're excited to offer over 25 skill development clinics from our awesome instructional partners, provided to club members at special club-only rates. Spring Training Program - Terms and Conditions

Upon registering for a clinic, I confirm that I have read, understand and agree to abide by the following terms and conditions:

  • All clinics adhere to the Nanaimo Paddlers COVID-19 Protocol, which includes the COVID-19 Guidelines for Club Paddles and In-Person Activities, and the COVID-19 Policy for 2022 Club Training Activities. Members and providers participating in clinics must abide by this Protocol. Please review the Protocol in full before registering for a clinic. 
  • To register for a clinic, click the clinic link to visit the Meetup posting for that clinic, where you will find more details (clinic description, location, required gear, etc.). To register, sign up to attend the event on Meetup, then follow the instructions to prepay via Paypal or credit card. Prepayment via Meetup is required to reserve your spot. We cannot accept e-transfers or cheques at this time, and we cannot facilitate registration outside of the Meetup platform. 
  • To register for a wait list if a clinic is full, please post "Add me to the wait list" in the comments for that clinic. Meetup does not maintain a regular (automated) wait list for paid events, so we will monitor the comments and contact members in the order they have posted if a space becomes available. 
  • There are no refunds for prepaid clinics, unless a clinic is cancelled by the club or by the provider, or unless there is someone on a waitlist who is able to fill your spot. If you can no longer attend your clinic, contact [email protected] to discuss your options. 
  • Please be considerate of other members when registering for clinics; there are a limited number of spots, and we want to ensure that all members can enjoy these training opportunities.

2022 Spring Training Program - Clinic Schedule

Basic clinics are most suitable for members who self-assess at proficiency level 2 or below.
Intermediate clinics are most suitable for members who self-assess at proficiency level 2 or 3. 
Advanced clinics are most suitable for members who self-assess at proficiency level 3 and above.
