Join/Renew

The process of becoming a member or renewing your membership of Nanaimo Paddlers is a simple multi-step process. This website contains all the information about the club, like club origin, FAQs, contacting the executive, skill development, reference links, participant guidelines and club news.  Events, however are managed through Meetup - an online group and event managing tool.

Annual fees are $35 per person.  Membership is from January 1 to December 31 each year.

In order to become a participating member of Nanaimo Paddlers or renew your membership each member must do the following:
  1. Ensure your kayak and equipment meet our club requirements (see our About page).
  2. Submit annual membership fee to the treasurer.
  3. Sign the waiver.
  4. Fill in the self-assessment skills survey
  5. Request access to the Meetup group.

To initiate these steps click on the PayNow button below which will present you with the page to submit your dues. Dues can be paid online using a credit card or, for those with PayPal accounts, from your PayPal account. To submit your dues click on the PayNow button below.  This will take you to the PayPal payment page where you can select whether to pay by credit card or using your PayPal account.  To pay by credit card click the "Pay with a credit card or Visa Debit card".

Once you have successfully submitted your payment a button entitled "Return to Merchant" will be shown.  When you click on this button you will be presented with the online waiver.
