2/17/2021

Picture
Join us March 3 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. on Zoom for a virtual kayaking expedition to Haida Gwaii!

Yves Aquin and Patti Stevens of Go Kayak paddled the length of this wild island archipelago in 2009, covering some 400 miles from Rose Spit in the north to Cape Saint James in the south. The heart of their journey was their trip through Gwaii Haanas National Park Reserve and Haida Heritage Site, a place of spectacular beauty and profound significance. Join Yves and Patti as they share stories and photos from their travels in this wild and magical place.

For more information or to register for the meeting and access the Zoom link, visit the event posting on Meetup.

2021 Annual General Meeting - Feb 3, 2021

1/20/2021

Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) takes place Wednesday February 3, 2021, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., on Zoom. Club members may register to attend the meeting on Meetup.

A brief AGM, including voting and election of the Board, will be followed by our featured presentation, "Kayaking Antarctica and South Georgia" by JF Marleau of SKILS.

Annual General Meeting Materials & Information

In preparation for the AGM, please review the following materials in advance:
  • AGM Agenda
  • Year-End Financials
  • Year-End Committee Reports
  • 2020 AGM Minutes
  • 2021 Board of Directors - Slate of Nominees (New as of February 1, 2021)

All voting will be done electronically via Zoom. Results will be tabulated automatically by the Zoom software and shared with attendees. Because Zoom only allows one vote per device, we recommend that members who attend from the same household sign in on separate devices in order to vote independently.

Featured presentation: "Kayaking Antarctica and South Georgia" with JF Marleau

We are pleased to welcome JF Marleau of SKILS to share with us his adventures kayaking in Antarctica and Sough Georgia. These destinations are undoubtedly on many a kayaker's bucket list. Join us for this virtual expedition!

To register for the meeting and obtain connection information, visit the club's Meetup site and follow the information in the meeting event posting. The meeting will be posted on Meetup at least two weeks in advance. See you there!
